Drink vessel “Rooster” on a stand 0003
A decorative vessel in the shape of a rooster.
- The base is covered with black glaze. Around the edge of the base, there is a row of small round indentations.
- The body is covered with black glaze and has a watering can from the neck.
- The tail is covered with brown and green markings. It is decorated with details resembling indentations, stripes, and dots that imitate feathers. At the top of the tail, there is a tear-shaped opening for pouring liquid, into which a cork is to be inserted. From the hole down to the tail there is an acquired defect - a crack and a small chip of the lining, on the other hand, also from the hole down to the body there is a crack.
- Head and neck - covered with dark brown and green spots. The neck is decorated with details resembling round and elongated indentations that imitate feathers. The depressions are covered with black water. The head is meticulously crafted, featuring a comb and beard. On both sides there are eyes - in the form of round depressions. The rooster's head is facing straight ahead, with its beak open, containing an opening for pouring liquid.
